Impression West Lake is a large-scale live action performance and one of China’s Top Seven Shows. It is world-famous for its dreamlike show and fantastic elegance. Directed by the directors of the opening ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Impression West Lake was initially shown in 2007. In a short period of seven years, Impression West Lake has ranked the third in the Must-Visits of Hangzhou.With hills as stage background and the whole city as the theater, the show is performed directly on the water surface of Yue Lake. It vividly presents the audience with the history and culture of West Lake through reproducing famous legends of Hangzhou, like the Legend of White Snake (白蛇传) and Butterfly lovers (梁山伯与祝英台). - Address:Beishan Road, Hangzhou (杭州市北山路)
