Chengshui Bridge is an eight-shaped strut wooden arch covered bridge located in Houzhanggang Village, Guihu Town. It is 15 metres long, 4.17 metres wide, with a span of 8 metres. Bridges adopting the eight-shaped strut structure already possess the embryonic form of wooden arch bridges, laying the groundwork for the emergence of mature wooden arch covered bridge technology. Among covered bridges built with eight-shaped struts, Xiazhuang Bridge in Hengkeng features a relatively simple framework, while the arch frame of Chengshui Bridge incorporates cross bracing (scissor braces).
