Ye Xueling Photography Art Museum

The Ye Xueling Photography Art Museum was officially completed in January 2009. It covers an area of more than 2,700 square metres with total assets of 3 million yuan. The museum contains an exhibition corridor for photographic works, a showroom for prize-winning photos and certificates, an academic exchange room, an art studio, a lounge and a dining hall.

It is China’s first privately run photography art museum, as well as an artistic sanctuary and exchange platform for ecological photography across the province and even the whole country. The building adopts blue and white as its main colour scheme, blending harmoniously with the surrounding green hills and clear waters in an elegant and serene style. Its corridor-shaped main structure highlights distinctive artistic features.

The museum houses 26 albums of ecological photographs and 50 award certificates by Ye Xueling. The exhibits mainly feature Jiangxi’s Five Wonders of wildlife and scenery: lotus flowers in Guangchang, little egrets in Nanchang, red-crowned cranes on Poyang Lake, mandarin ducks in Wuyuan, and Chinese mergansers in Yiyang. It offers visitors a one-stop ecological tour featuring the unique natural landscapes of Jiangxi.
