Thrilling Drifting on Lushui River

The drifting route on the Lushui River in Long'an County lies along the Lushui River section in Pingshan Township, starting 6 kilometres upstream from the Longhu Mountain Nature Reserve. The whole course stretches around 15 kilometres.

The river valley is as beautiful as a painted scroll. Tourists ride rubber rafts, listening to the gurgling clear stream and enjoying soft breezes. Drifting downstream, you can reach Longhu Mountain directly.

The current alternates between gentle stretches and rushing rapids, with a total drop of 106 metres from the starting point to the finish. When navigating turbulent shoals, you will strive to break through the waves. The experience fills you with heroic spirit and excitement. When the river calms down, you can sit or lie leisurely on the raft, letting the cool wind caress you and savour complete relaxation.

The drifting area is located on the upper reaches of the Lushui River, right on the golden tourist route connecting Longhu Mountain in Guangxi, Detian Waterfall in Daxin and Tongling Grand Canyon in Jingxi. It is 80 kilometres away from downtown Nanning. The starting point is only 2 kilometres from the secondary highway between Nanning and Daxin, and the route ends at the foot of Longhu Mountain. The whole drifting trip takes roughly 3 hours.
