Let’s Go Drifting on the Lushui River

The drifting route runs along the Lushui River in Pingshan Township, starting 6 kilometres upstream from the Longhu Mountain Nature Reserve. The whole waterway stretches about 15 kilometres.

This section boasts picturesque scenery. You will ride rubber rafts, listen to the murmuring clear stream and feel the gentle breeze. Drifting downstream, you can reach Longhu Mountain directly.

The current alternates between slow currents and rushing rapids, with a total drop of 106 metres from the start to the finish. When tackling turbulent rapids, you will fight your way forward amid thrills, filled with heroic excitement. When the river calms down, you can sit or lie lazily on the raft, enjoying the cool wind and feeling utterly relaxed.

The drifting area sits on the upper reaches of the Lushui River, right on the golden tourist corridor connecting Longhu Mountain of Guangxi, Detian Waterfall in Daxin County and Tongling Grand Canyon in Jingxi County. It is 80 kilometres away from downtown Nanning. The starting point is only 2 kilometres off the Grade 2 highway from Nanning to Daxin, and the drifting journey ends at the foot of Longhu Mountain. The whole trip lasts roughly three hours.
