Jiangxi, "Gan" in brief, is one of the inland provinces of the People's Republic of China, It lies on the southern bank of the Yangtze River's lower and middle sections. It has an area of 166,900 sq km and a population of 41.49 million.

Jiangxi province has rather developed railroad and highway networks with Nanchang, Jiujiang, and Jingdezhen as the centers. Jiangxi boasts several airports in Nanchang, Jingdezhen, Jinggangshan, Ganzhou, and Lushan, which provide convenient air transportation for tourists to travel in this place.
