Route A
Assemble at the entrance of Jiaxing Hotel at 08:00, depart punctually at 08:20 for beautiful Hutou Village.
Visit exhibitions themed on Jianyao Jianzhan porcelain, Princess of Emperor Lizong of the Southern Song Dynasty, Gong Qi (Bangyan of the Ming Dynasty) and Taibao Ancestral Temple culture to experience exclusive Jian'ou local culture and admire the unique scenery of Jian'ou’s backyard garden.
After the village tour, proceed to China Root Art City, a National 3A-level scenic spot to appreciate the profound charm of root carving culture.
Return to Jian'ou urban area for lunch, then head to Fujian Shuanglong Xizhu Liquor Industry (Provincial Industrial Tourism Attraction). Tour the Double Dragon wine storage cave and learn about local liquor brewing craftsmanship while tasting mellow fine liquor.
Next, visit Jian'ou Confucian Temple (Jian'ou Museum) in the northeast of the city center, constructed in 1038 AD with a thousand-year history. This grand temple complex includes over ten buildings: Lingxing Gate, Buyun Bridge, Half-Moon Pond, Front Hall, Dacheng Hall, Minglun Hall, Scripture Repository and Chongsheng Shrine.
Walk to Madam Lian Square to learn about Madam Lian’s admirable life story, then continue on foot to Tongxianmen Gate, where you can share the same sentiments Marco Polo felt when traveling through Jian'ou. Appreciate the riverside ancient scenery before disbanding and returning home.
Route B
Assemble at the entrance of Jiaxing Hotel at 08:00, depart punctually at 08:20 for Guizong Rock.
Known as "Little Wuyi", Guizong Rock sits at the mouth of Yijun Stream, 15 kilometers north of Jian'ou urban area, covering an area of 4 square kilometers. All landscapes here are purely natural, shaped by exquisite uncanny craftsmanship without artificial adornment, and praised by poets of all dynasties.
After sightseeing, head to Xudun for lunch.
Later, visit China Root Art City (National 3A-level attraction) to experience the magic of root carving culture. After lunch, travel to Fujian Shuanglong Xizhu Liquor Industry, tour Double Dragon Cave and taste fine liquor. Then visit Jian'ou Confucian Temple (Jian'ou Museum), a grand ancient temple complex with Lingxing Gate, Buyun Bridge, Half-Moon Pond, Dacheng Hall and other historic buildings. Disband and return home after the tour.
