(2) Asian Beach Games (Quadrennial Major Sports Gala)
The 6th edition was held April 2026 in Sanya. It features beach volleyball, surfing, skateboarding and coastal athletics, with cultural parades of delegations from all Asian countries.
(3) Sanya Surf Culture Season (Year-round peak: Oct–Mar)
Hosted at Riyue Bay & Houhai Village: National surfing competitions, surf music festivals, beach camping, youth ocean sports carnivals, the signature trendy coastal event for young travelers.
