Two-Day Sightseeing Tour of Yancheng

Take a long-distance bus from Yancheng Bus Station. The ride takes about 2.5 hours to get to the reserve. Enter the gate of Milu Park marked by an antique archway, and you will see animal sculpture groups, fishing platforms, peacock garden, racecourse, red-crowned crane garden, Taigong Pavilion, Beach-view Pavilion, Leisure Pavilion, winding corridors, deer-watching tower and Fairy Bridge. There are also an audio-visual education hall, exhibition hall, simulated ecological specimen museum and popular science materials.

Dining: Several on-site restaurants serve fresh seafood and farmhouse dishes for visitors. Accommodation: Lodging is available inside the reserve, yet it is recommended to head back to downtown Yancheng for a more comfortable stay.

Take Bus No.207 to Yandu Bus Station and transfer to the shuttle bus for Dazong Lake, or take a taxi directly. Apart from natural scenery including the lake and reed labyrinth, the scenic area has newly built Cherry Blossom Boulevard, Liubao Village, Dragon Pearl Island, man-made beach and fishing zones. Featured activities such as on-water wedding ceremonies and gunfight shows are also available here.

Dining: Small restaurants around the lake serve delicacies like honey-glazed crayfish, hairy crabs and steamed loaches, which are well worth a try.
