A national base for patriotic education and a model cultural unit. Visited by many state leaders, it symbolizes the revolutionary heritage of Yancheng, a land of outstanding people.

Located north of Jianjun East Road, built in 1986, the memorial hall comprises four zones: sculpture group, stele forest, exhibition halls, and gardens. At the entrance stand two large red granite sculptures—Heroic Combat and Supporting the Front. White marble statues of young pioneers flank the bridgehead.
