Nestled in Gaoqiao Town, Lianjiang, on Yingluo Bay of the Beibu Gulf at the border of Guangdong and Guangxi, the scenic area is 60 kilometers east of Lianjiang urban area, 80 kilometers south of Zhanjiang urban area, and 75 kilometers west of Beihai City, Guangxi. It enjoys a unique location and convenient transportation.
As the largest contiguous mangrove forest on China’s mainland, Gaoqiao Mangrove Forest Ecotourism Area spans 37,000 mu, renowned in western Guangdong as the “Marine Forest Paradise” and “Natural Marine Wetland Paradise.” The mangrove forest here is a typical representative of China’s mainland coastline, featuring a fine forest form, unique structure, and some trees are hundreds of years old.
