Located on Dragon Tiger Hill at the western end of Jianshe Road, Baoshi Park was built in memory of Fu Baoshi, the distinguished traditional Chinese painting master born in Xinyu. Covering 29.13 hectares, it is China’s first park named after an artist and one of the key cultural facilities in Jiangxi Province.
The overall design and layout embody the elegant and refined artistic style of Mr. Fu Baoshi. The park is equipped with a complete set of scenic spots and a 5-kilometer walking trail, including Fu Baoshi Exhibition Hall, East Gate, South Gate, Qinfeng Tower, Zuibi Tower, Baoshi Lake, Twin Pavilions above Water, Waterside Pavilion for Art Appreciation, Curved Corridor at Sunset, Solid Stone Pass, Three Smiles Bridge, Red Rain Bridge, Children’s Playground, Moon-Inviting Pavilion, Fragrance-Retaining Pavilion, Noble Spirit Pavilion, Fish-Viewing Pond, Flower Garden, Virtue-Admiring Pavilion, Wave-Listening Pavilion, Chess-Playing Pavilion, Pine Waves over Blue Sea and Art Peak Pagoda.
