VI. Practical Travel Tips

Transportation: First travel to Harbin or Qiqihar, then take a flight or train to Mohe or Jiagedaqi; renting a private car or joining a carpool is the most convenient way to get around local scenic spots.
Clothing: Bring a thin jacket and long trousers for summer; down jackets, snow boots, thermal underwear, hats and gloves for winter to guard against extreme cold.
Border Control: An ID card is required for entry to some scenic spots; never cross the borderline in border river zones.
