The Chengde Mountain Resort, also known as the Rehe Palace, was a summer retreat for Qing Dynasty emperors. It is considered one of the three great ancient architectural complexes in China, alongside the Forbidden City in Beijing and the Confucius Temple in Qufu. The resort is celebrated for its harmonious blend of natural landscapes and imperial architecture, reflecting the geographical diversity of China.
