Founded in 1943, Huatian Yanji Restaurant is a restaurant selling Korean Cold Noodles. It was formerly located at the west entrance of Shoupa Hutong, near Xidan. It was then named as "Xinsheng Cold Noodle Restaurant". In 1956, after the joint state-private ownership was established, the restaurant was relocated to Shifuma Street. In 1963, the restaurant moved to No.181 Xisi North Street. Cold noodles of the restaurant win warm praise from customers. Especially in summer, the restaurant is full of customers nearly every day. Apart from cold noodles, Yanji Restaurant also sells specialties of the Chaoxian nationality, such as Spicy Beef, Walleye Pollack, fried beef, and Crispy Fried Fish.
