PART 2 West Lake Park
This park is the only park in Beijing where you can watch the planes land and take off from close range. On average, there is a big plane flying overhead every 5 minutes. The closest big planes here are only 20 meters away from the ground, almost like "brushing past". From a distance, you can hear the sound of the plane's engine. The best place to see the big planes in the park is at Bagua Terrace. When the planes are passing by, you can take pictures here to leave the coolest moment with the planes.
The long fitness trail in the park is long enough for you to do all kinds of sports. You can spend a relaxing weekend without being disturbed with your kids and snacks. With large airplanes and a hundred acres of lawn, it is a picnic destination and a sports and leisure paradise.
Admission: Free
Address: Southwest corner of Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital Airport
PART3 The Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution
In the weapons display area of the Military Museum, the focus is on the weapons and equipment captured and used by the People's Army, especially the meritorious weapons in the history of the People's Army. It reveals the fighting spirit and glorious tradition of the people's army in the revolutionary war era of winning with weakness and superiority with inferiority, and shows the development of new Chinese weapons and equipment from nothing to something and then to strength.
There is a silver gray war eagle numbered 079 on display at the Military Museum, which is the MiG-15 fighter plane driven by Wang Hai, a famous combat hero in the War of Resistance against America and Korea. The nine red five stars on the plane mark Wang Hai's achievements in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.
