UCCA Center for Contemporary Art is a leading contemporary art institution in China. The main gallery consists of three buildings, covering an area of approximately 10,000 m². In addition to the iconic Grand Gallery and several other galleries of different scales, there is a lecture hall as well as public spaces for educational, academic and gathering events. Several art exhibitions of different scales and a wide range of themes are presented here each year.
Liu Xiaodong: Your Friends is currently on display. The exhibition presents Liu Xiaodong's closest people depicted with his signature perceptive and creative approach, including his best friend that he has been acquainted with for over 30 years in Beijing. A series of small works on paper and diary manuscripts are also on display.
