Burning Lamp Pagoda, known as Burning Lamp Buddhist Relic Pagoda, is named after the statue of the Burning Lamp Buddha enshrined in front of the pagoda. It is now located in Xihaizi Park of Tongzhou District, which is called "Tongzhou Pagoda" by the locals, and is the symbol of the northern end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. The tower is an octagonal 13-story brick structure with a height of 56 meters and a base circumference of 38 meters. It is composed of the Sumeru Throne, the tower body and the top section of the tower. There are exquisite brick carvings on all eight sides of the tower. With its beautiful shape and majestic momentum, the pagoda has become one of the "Eight Views of Tongzhou" and is known as the "Ancient Pagoda Soaring to the Sky".
