A World-Famous Porcelain Capital
Located in the northeast of Jiangxi, Jingdezhen is a world-famous porcelain city. It is close to Anhui to the north and Shangrao to the west, east and south. Jingdezhen has been making porcelain since the Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) and then started to produce official porcelain for the imperial family since the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279).
