Air
Beihai Fucheng Airport is a modern airport operating flights to more than a dozen cities, amongst which are Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and Guangzhou. It covers an area of 7 acres (3.5 hectares) with a runway of 3,500 yards (about 3,200 meters) and 65 yards (about 60 meters) wide. Now there is one terminal building in service. Airport shuttle buses are available here, which can take passengers to the downtown area within 40 minutes at a cost of CNY20 per person. In addition, taxis awaiting outside the Arrival Hall can be rented to tour the nearby attractions.
Train
There is only one train station located at Beijing Road in the city center - Beihai Railway Station. It has a grand thirteen-storey building, four cargo loading and unloading lines and a large warehouse. It has strong cargo capacity but is relatively weak in passenger transportation. At present, both ordinary trains and bullet trains are scheduled here for passengers' convenience, and the destinations include Liuzhou, Nanning, Guangzhou, Guilin, Fangchenggang and Hangzhou.
Bus Routes: No. 1, 10, 16. 17, 20, 22, 102, 103, 106 and 107 can directly take you to the railway station.

Long-distance Bus
The highways there extend to all directions. Two national highways that pass through Behai at present are the No.209 National Highway (Hubei Line) and No.325 National Highway (Guangnan Line). More busses are to converge in this city in time to come, as there are plans for the following routes from this city to Nanning, Guilin, Zhanjiang and Chongqing. Due to these efficient highways, driving becomes very convenient as the number of hours is not so long. For examples, it takes about 3 hours' drive to Nanning, 7 hours to Guilin and 1.5 hours to Zhanjiang.

Ship
The city is located at the northeastern bank of Beibu Gulf and at the central position between southwest Hainan and Southeast Asia. There are many natural seaports in the Beibu Gulf area, among which the harbor has a long history and one of the earliest harbors of the 'Silk Road of the Sea' in the ancient times. The harbor is also considered to be one of the most convenient seaports in southwest China. The city has close trade relation with more than 216 ports in and around 98 countries. There are two dock stations in the city. The first is International Passenger Transport Dock (BIPTD) located at No.3 road of Silver Beach, where ships sail to Weizhou Island and Haikou City. Bus No.3 from the city center goes to the dock. Taxi fare from Beibu Gulf Square would costs CNY15. The second is Harbor Bureau Passenger Transport Station (HBPTS), where ship sails to Haikou only. It is located at Haijiao Road and reachable by bus No.8.
