Take the airport shuttle bus and get off at the Airport Hotel, then walk about 750 meters (820 yards) to the Kangding Coach Station. Then, take bus from Kangding to Bamei, which runs at 07:30, 09:30 and 11:00 and includes the stop of Tagong Grassland. Then, get off at Tagong Grassland, which will take about 135 minutes and cost CNY 18.

1: Mount Gongga
Gongga Mountain, also known as Minya Konka, is situated at the south of Kangding City. It is the highest snow mountain in Sichuan Province. Gongga in Tibetan language represents the supremacy and spotless white, so it is a sacred mountain for climbers. Gongga Mountain Area is an ethnic minority area with Gongga Temple, Tagong Temple and other Tibetan Buddhist temples. Tourists can enjoy the colorful ethnic customs of the Tibetan and Yi nationalities.
2: Mugecuo Scenic Area
As it is located in the north of Kangding County, the hometown of a love song, this site is also known as Kangding Love Song Scenic Area. It is 17 kilometers (10.5 miles) away from Kangding City, and 30 kilometers (10.5 miles) away from Kangding Airport with an altitude of 2,600-3,780 meters (2843-4133 yards). The scenic area is endowed with numerous lakes, waterfalls, primeval forests, hot springs, snow peaks, fragrant flowers, strange mountains and rocks, truly a splendid and colorful landscape! It is an ideal place for sightseeing, entertainment, rest, recuperation, fitness, summer vacation and scientific research.
3: Tagong Scenic Area
110 kilometers (68 miles) from Kangding City, it has the north line of Sichuan-Tibet highway passing through here. With Tagong Temple as the central, Tagong Scenic Area consists of Tagong Grassland, forests, river, Tibetan buildings and various Tibetan customs. "Tagong" in Tibetan means the favorite place of bodhisattva.
