When to Go
Because of the continental monsoon climate, Yantai is neither too cold in winter nor too hot in summer. With an annual average temperature of 11.8C (53.24F), it has agreeable weather with four distinct seasons. Thus, excluding the winter period (Nov. - the next Jan.), April to October is the best time to go. It's believed that the fine weather and good atmosphere will increase the enjoyment of your tour.
