The Former Resilience of Rong Lu, one of the District Culture Relics Protective Sites, is located at the Jiaodaokounan, Dongcheng District. The resilience has three parts, the west part is western-styled building, the eastern part comprises of living rooms and the center part is a garden.
The resilience was joined by 5 yards. The first and the second yards have 11 rooms and all of them are decorated in Qing-style furniture. The forth and the fifth have 5 rooms each and are separated from the former yards and open a door at Shoubi Hutong.
The central garden in the resilience was removed and a dormitory building was built at the place. Some part of the western-style building was rebuilt and there is only a western-styled tower built in the late Qing dynasty that still exits.
