Guanyin Temple is situated in Guancaiyuan Street in Xicheng District. Located between in Guancaiyuan Street and Zixin Road, facing north, the west Guanyin Temple lies in the west road, while the east Guanyin Temple in the east road with 51 rooms. Between the two temples there is an arcade, which forms a doorway for horses and chariots to transit.
The south side of the arcade was engraved “Juean”, while the north side engraved “Jinsheng” in April in the ten years of Emperor Daoguang(1831). It was the key protected cultural relics in Xicheng District. In 1998, it was demolished when constructed the Caishikou Street.
