Wukesong Baseball Stadium is the site where the baseball games of the 2008 Olympic Games were held. It is on the southwest corner of Wukesong Sports Center. There are 15,000 bleachers and the building area is about 12,000 square meters.
“Culture & Sports & Public Service Facilities” includes indoor swimming pools, theaters, banks, post offices and shopping malls. These subsidiary buildings covers an area of 287,000 square meters.
As one of the key projects of the Beijing Olympic Games, Wukesong Sports Center also served as the basketball arena. Covering an area of 63,000 square meters, the sports center can hold 18,000 fans at a time.
