Hanshiqiao (Health Bridge) Wetland Park is also known as "Large Reed Marshes in East Beijing" and "Small Baiyangdian (the largest freshwater lake in North China Plain) in Beijing Suburbs". From the mid-March to mid-November of each year, everything here comes to life and flowers are in full blossom, tourists from all over the world are attracted to visit here and enjoy the beautiful and vigorous scenes. Hanshiqiao (Health Bridge) Wetland Natural Reserve is located in the plain area of East Beijing, covering a total area of 1,900 hectares. It is the only large reed mash wetland in the plain area of Beijing and also a habitat and stopover site for migrant birds.
