Fangshan Baicaopan Scenic Area was housed in Wuzhi Peak, the main peak of Baihua Mountain. A 15 km-long mountain path lies between the gate of the scenic area and the mountaintop. There are shuttle buses for tourists to reach the mountaintop. It is the only tourism spot in Beijing where buses are offered to reach around 2,000-meter-high peak. Wuzhi Peak is the highest point in the area. Standing on its top, you can see peaks rising one after another, and winding roads among the mountain, which is very magnificent.
About 110-km away from downtown Beijing, Fangshan Baicaopan Scenic Area is a nice suburban place for you to spend weekends. Here you can view high mountain meadow covered with wild flowers, expansive mountains, lush pine forests, and cloud sea. In the arresting scenic area, you can enjoy sceneries, take pictures, breathe fresh air, and relax yourself.
