Mao'er Courtyard is located in a historical hutong called Mao'er Hutong hidden in a protected hutong area of Beijing. In the Qing Dynasty some royal families lived there. From this hotel, guests can walk to the popular attractions of Beijing, including the Shichahai Lakes and a bar street, the Bell & Drum Towers and Beihai Park. If you think you have more strength, you can even walk to the Forbidden City.
In Mao'er Courtyard there are 4 guestrooms, all nicely decorated in traditional Chinese style with hand carved furniture and modern facilities. This is for visitors who want a taste of Old Beijing: a terrace looks out onto neighboring hutong roofs, the wooden beams in the yard are painted with traditional scenes, and in the morning Chinese breakfast is served.
