The hotel is housed in a courtyard with a history of nearly 300 years. It was once part of the garden of the mansion of Suo Family in the Qing Dynasty. The Suo Familly was called one of the Four Richest Family in Beijing with Na Family, Wang Family and Yang Family at that time. The whole yard is naturally very elegant and delicate. There are in total 5 rooms of different themes in this hotel that are respectively the Silk Road theme, Peony Pavilion, Bamboo House, Golden Pond, etc. Each room has direct access to the open courtyard while it offers a more private and personal space in a quiet and gorgeous courtyard.In order to preserve the original architectural style, the hotel owner Du Ge cooperated with a group of design elites from Belgium and China to bring the old courtyard building into daily life.
