Located in the Topwin Center of Sanlitun, the Poly Phony is an offline bookstore that specializes in American comics. Every Marvel fan and DC zealot will be attracted by various cartoons, derivative products, and garage kits displayed in the store. Adopting the minimalism style, the entire store decor is only in black and white. As an outlet of original American comics, Poly Phony offers reasonably complete Marvel periodicals. What’s more, it uses a whole wall to display the Star Wars related comics. Charles Soule, a famous Marvel screenwriter, once paid a visit to this bookstore. Music salons are also often held here, a “Kaiseki of classical music”, positioned by Poly Phony. Occasionally, the store will also invite trending toy designers, cartoonists and other interesting people for insight exchanges and queuing activities.
